Alhamdulillah, sidang TA sabtu kemaren berjalan dengan lancar,
hasilnya jg lumayan (daripada manyun)...biar cape n pusing...
tp qta sekarang bisa seneng2 biar Senenya harus ujian,ga pa2,
trus td qta habis ngadain syukuran cos semua dah beres.
Qta semua berharap, selesai ini, tidak menyelesaikan semuanya tp
awal dari perjuangan baru...Semangat?

About Wireless.....

-To know Wireless LAN -

Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is computer network that use radio wave as a data transmitter media . Information transferred media from one computer to another computer using radio wave. WLAN usually saying as Nirkabel Networking or Wireless Networking communication process without this cable, begin with appear tool berbasis radio wave, like walkie talkie, remote control, cordless phone, ponsel and another tool radio.

There is terminology that popular sufficient that hooks with wireless:

  1. wi-fi or wifi

wi-fi is other name that given for product that following specification 802.11. All of computer user more know sufficient wi-fi card/adapter than with card/adapter 802.11.. Wi-fi is trade brand, and more popular than word “IEEE 802.11”.

  1. channel

if frequency tape like a road so channel like lines to separate of that road. Tools 802.11a work in frequency 5,15 - 5,875 GHz, but tool 802.11b and 802.11g work in frequency 2,4 – 2,497 GHz. So, 802.11a use frequency tape more large than 802.11b or 802.11g. So much width frequency tape, so much channel that available too.

  1. MIMO

  1. WEP

Wired Equivalent Privacy is one of security fitur that have character build-in of wi-fi tool. Security is problem that serious to wi-fi result radio wave that radiation of adapter wi-fi can received of all wi-fi tool there in around environment (or beside of build). So with this condition more sensitive because of that wi-fi made of with much kind enkripsi : 40 bit, 64 bit, 128 bit and 256 bit. WEP user will increased data security that transferred.

  1. SSID

Service Set Identifier is identification or name for wireless networking. Each wi-fi tool must using sure SSID. Wi-fi guess one of networking if use the same SSID. In order to can communication, each wireless tool must using the same SSID and channel. Character SSID is case-sensitive. In writing capital and small letter is very influence.

6. SES

SecureEasySetup is answer of difficulty networking security setup that so far to feel the amount of court. Just with press one key. SES in this away automatic give SSID and security code to router and adapter also application security WAP (Wireless Protected Access). For using SES, user just oblige press key SES of router, to go on client, and then a both pair will made a communication line that safe.

Konsep IP Address di Internet

Biasanya neeh,bagi para pengguna Internet hanya perlu mengenal hostname dari mesin yang dituju, seperti: ui.ac.id, stmik-tsm.ac.id. Tapi dengan menggunakan informasi tersebut akan menyulitkan komputer untuk bekerja langsung karena tidak ada keteraturan yang dapat di programkan dengan mudah. So untuk mengatasi hal tersebut neeh, komputer mengidentifikasi alamat setiap komputer dengan menggunakan sekumpulan angka sebanyak 32 bit yang dikenal sebagai IP address.


Struktur IP Address

IP Address terdiri dari bilangan biner sepanjang 32 bit yang dibagi atas 4 segmen. Tiap segmen terdiri atas 8 bit yang berarti memiliki nilai desimal dari 0 - 255. Range address yang bisa digunakan adalah dari 00000000.00000000.00000000.00000000 sampai dengan 11111111.11111111.11111111.11111111. Jadi, ada sebanyak 232 kombinasi address yang bisa dipakai diseluruh dunia (walaupun pada kenyataannya ada sejumlah IP Address yang digunakan untuk keperluan khusus). Jadi, jaringan TCP/IP dengan 32 bit address ini mampu menampung sebanyak 232 atau lebih dari 4 milyar host. Untuk memudahkan pembacaan dan penulisan, IP Address biasanya direpresentasikan dalam bilangan desimal. Jadi, range address di atas dapat diubah menjadi address 0.0.0.0 sampai address 255.255.255.255. Nilai desimal dari IP Address inilah yang dikenal dalam pemakaian sehari-hari. Beberapa contoh IP Address adalah :
